Grinning as she bowed to the other, she stood up straight and reached a hand out to shake. “Hello, my name is Jinx, magical stage performer, you are?”
She raised an eyebrow, unsure of what to make of the girl. Instead of taking the hand, she placed hers on her hips. “Red X. Thief. ‘Jinx the magical stage performer’?” She snorted. “Points for creativity. But then, I guess I’ve heard worse stage names.”
Rolling her eyes as she pulled her hand back, she rested it just above her hip bone. “Uh-huh. Well, I hope you do realize that’s not my actual stage name. Merely my occupation. Are all crooks this foolish, or just you?”
